SCORE INTERPRETATIONAutomatic summary of the results
The measured difference comes from unmatched crack structure.
CRASDI is 0.134 using all four attributes. Lower values mean closer agreement; this is a difference index, not a percentage of incorrect pixels or a pavement condition rating.
1 reference segment has no match in the testing map (283.3 mm), centered in the middle left. Inspect the dashed yellow traces for omitted structure or displacement beyond the matching tolerance.
Unmatched length adds about 0.134 to every displayed component. A nonzero width or orientation component can therefore appear even when the matched cracks agree.
Check alignment, matching radius, and mask completeness before interpreting this as a detection error or physical change.

How to interpret the score
Lower means more similar. CRASDI matches crack segments, then compares their geometry, length, width, and orientation. The default mode gives each attribute equal weight. Geometry-only mode uses the geometry component; attributes-only mode averages length, width, and orientation. Unmatched crack length adds a penalty. The displayed component values include that penalty.
All input maps and example thumbnails show width-scaled vectors. Thickness follows the stored crack widths, using the selected resolution to convert millimeters to pixels. Reference and testing maps share the same scale, so widening and extension are visible. The colored comparison overlay uses thin centerlines to keep matches readable.
Each example and settings combination has been computed in advance using the original code. Changing a setting loads its saved result and updates the map and summary. Some settings can produce the same score, especially for identical maps or scale-invariant comparisons.
